Celeste Ducharme, Founder & President
Celeste Ducharme is a giving, goal-oriented, passionate leader who motivates, mentors, encourages, and puts others’ needs and circumstances before her own. She has spent the past decade compassionately helping her community, staff, and local business owners overcome obstacles, create a plan to persevere, and take simplified action steps to create their dream life.
Celeste and her husband, Roger, of 31 years have raised two extraordinary children. Her dedication to faith, family, and encouraging others, shows up in how she lives her life each day.
She has spent the past 30-plus years building businesses and managing teams within several high-profile companies such as Nordstrom, Dennis Uniform Company, The Rancon Group, and Ranch RV & Self-Storage.
Celeste is a co-author of the #1 International Best-Seller, “Turn Possibilities into Realities” and recently published her second co-authored book, “The Journey Is Yours To Take, Choose To Move Through Frazzled to Fabulous.” She will also be appearing in the upcoming documentary “Beyond the Game,” produced by Susan Sember, educating student-athletes on how to leverage their platform as an athlete for the next chapter of success.
Building beauty from brokenness is a welcomed opportunity for those who are open to her guidance.
Jamie Shaffstall, Vice President
Jamie Shaffstall is passionate about helping people create healthier, more fulfilling lives through community, encouragement, and personal growth. She is dedicated to supporting women in rediscovering hope, confidence, healing, and purpose while walking through life’s challenges with compassion and authenticity.
As a board member and fundraising community ambassador for Choose to be Restored, Jamie helps bring awareness, resources, mentorship, and community support to women seeking emotional, physical, and spiritual restoration. She believes in meeting people where they are and helping them take empowered steps toward healing and transformation.
In addition to her nonprofit work, Jamie is a wellness coach and a real estate professional. Across every area of her work, her heart remains the same: helping others build lives they truly love through home, health, and hope.
Yvette Johnstone, Communications Chair
Yvette is passionate about empowering women to feel amazing about themselves through personal style and a focus on health and wellness. With over 15 years of experience in the fashion industry, she has a gift for helping men, women, and children feel confident in the clothes they wear. Yvette’s personal journey of transforming her own health and wellness, through a routine and healthy habits, has inspired her to guide others on a similar path. She deeply values love, integrity, and spirit, and her compassionate nature allows her to meet people where they are, helping them uncover their own inner light. Yvette also has a love for movies, music, and dance, which fuel her creative spirit. She cherishes her family, friends, and the community she serves. Her mission is to become a beacon of light for others, guiding them towards discovering their passion and living a life that truly lights them up.
Ashleigh Goodwin, Secretary
Ashleigh Goodwin is passionate about helping women experience healing, hope, and renewed purpose through the love and grace of God. After discovering Choose to Be Restored and completing the mentorship program, Ashleigh experienced firsthand the power of God’s presence through faith, encouragement, healing, and community support. The love and guidance she received through the program, rooted in God’s truth, inspired her to give back and help other women on their journey toward restoration in Him.
Ashleigh now works in education within the school district and brings a heart of service, organization, and compassion—guided by her faith in God—to her role on the board. She is honored to support the mission of Choose to Be Restored and to help create a place where women can grow, heal, and be reminded that with God, all things can be made new, and through Him, restoration is always possible.
Stephanie Mearse, Treasurer
Stephanie Mearse is a passionate leader, advocate, and business strategist dedicated to helping individuals and communities experience restoration, empowerment, and long-term success. She brings a unique blend of financial expertise, entrepreneurial insight, and heart-centered service to every organization and initiative she supports.
Stephanie works in a consulting capacity with Desert Capital Management Group, an independent Registered Investment Advisory firm, where she supports client relationships, strategic initiatives, and investor communications. With years of experience in the financial services industry, she is known for guiding clients with clarity, integrity, and a personalized approach to long-term financial growth.
She is also the founder of Crowned Consulting LLC, where she partners with entrepreneurs, creatives, and mission-driven organizations to build, grow, and position their brands for sustainable success. Her work includes business development, investor readiness, marketing strategy, and leadership consulting—helping clients turn vision into structured, scalable reality.
Stephanie’s commitment to impact extends deeply into the nonprofit space. She proudly serves on the board of Choose to Be Restored, supporting its mission to bring healing, hope, and transformation to individuals navigating life’s most challenging seasons. She is also actively involved in community initiatives, including work with the Boys & Girls Club and other service-based organizations focused on supporting youth and families.
Known for her warm, relational approach, Stephanie bridges the gap between strategy and purpose. She believes true success is measured not only by financial growth, but by lives restored, strengthened, and empowered. Through her leadership, she continues to help others move forward with clarity, confidence, and hope.
Michele Broad NP-C, Board Member
Michele’s mission is to empower women everywhere with the tools and support needed to conquer their professional life while also teaching them to nurture their well-being. With over 25 years under her stethoscope, she’s guided countless women on their path to success, recognizing that a healthy body and mind are the cornerstones of a thriving business or career.
